I’m Matt Wittmann, and I’ve created this website to express my thoughts, opinions, and sense of humor. My writings range from the philosophical to the satirical to the light-hearted. I may add some of my photography and drawings later on. Basically I intend this website to showcase my creativity and ideas.
As the background image betrays, I am from St. Louis, Missouri, and it’s not a bad place. I have a fondness for an era in history known as the Enlightenment, when the exchange of ideas was held in great esteem. I enjoy reading philosophy representing a diversity of viewpoints whether I agree with them or not. I am not one to accept artificial constraints, and I believe in but one sin: to not think. To abrogate independence in thought is to lose everything.
